We use our latest iTero scanner to scan your teeth, which takes about 15 minutes. After the scan, you can view a tentative simulation of your Before and After teeth alignment with Invisalign.
Dr. Sombir will create a customized Clincheck treatment plan, which takes 3-4 days. He then presents his plan to you for approval. Once approved, Invisalign uses 3D computer imaging technology and 3D Printing to convert your Clincheck treatment into custom-molded Invisalign aligners. The number of trays you need will depend on your planned treatment.
We will receive the Invisalign kit in about 2-3 weeks, and Dr. Sombir’s specialized team of dentists will usually place Invisalign attachments during the first visit. You will receive the sets of aligners and instructions will be given on how to wear and maintain them. If necessary for your plan, you may need additional Invisalign accessories like buttons or rubber bands(elastics).
You must wear each set of aligners for 20-22 hours per day as prescribed. You should only remove them to eat, drink, brush, and floss. After wearing each set for 7-10 days as directed, you can move on to the next set. Treatment time typically ranges from 9-15 months or longer, depending on the case. You will generally need to visit for check-ups once every 3 months. In cases where you are abroad/outstation,Dr sombir’s team will connect to you virtually for followups to track your progress.
Dr. Sombir will determine if you require Invisalign refinements at the end of your aligner set. Refinements can help improve teeth positions and bite further. If refinements are required, Dr. Sombir’s team will perform another iTero scan to create refinement trays or overcorrection trays. If no refinements are necessary, you can receive your retainer, which will hold your teeth in their new position for one year to ensure stability.
